Pale Parchment Light

2026 Paint PaintSAP1112-45

Pale Parchment Light is a gentle Sanderson neutral from the 2026 Paint range, with a soft parchment warmth and a clear, light-reflecting presence. In Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell, it reads as an easy wall colour that sits quietly behind upholstery and joinery.

About this colour

This shade is a warm, pale beige with a creamy undertone, so it feels lighter than a true stone colour and less yellow than a biscuit tone. On a wall it lifts light well without going chalky, and the #F0E1CA value gives it a soft, settled look rather than a sharp cream finish. In north-facing rooms it can appear slightly deeper and more muted, with the parchment note becoming calmer and more grounded. In south-facing light it turns brighter and warmer, taking on a sunlit, honeyed edge while still staying restrained. It works well beside natural oak, walnut, painted joinery, linen-look upholstery and muted floral or check patterns.

How to use it

Use it in sitting rooms, bedrooms or hallways where you want a warm backdrop that will not compete with furniture. It suits painted skirting, doors and shelves, and sits neatly beside pale timber, brown leather and muted green or terracotta upholstery.

A warm parchment neutral that stays gentle on the wall and pairs easily with timber and upholstery.

Pairs well with

Pale Parchment Light is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
