Powdered chalk

This shade reads as a warm, pale beige with a chalky cream cast, lifted by its clean lightness but still grounded enough to feel settled rather than bright. In north-facing rooms it can lean more muted and slightly greyer, so it may feel calmer and more sheltered. In south-facing light it opens out, showing more of its gentle warmth and making the room feel brighter without becoming yellow. It works well beside walnut, oak, painted joinery in off-white, and upholstery in muted greens, claret, or indigo.
