About this colour

At #DAD6CD, New Silver reads as a gently warmed grey with a quiet, chalky lightness rather than a bright silver sheen. In north-facing rooms it can lean a little cooler and more muted, giving walls a settled, understated look, while in south-facing light the warmth comes forward and the colour feels softer and more creamy. It reflects light without looking glossy or stark, so it can open up a room while still feeling composed. In Sanderson’s Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell, it suits painted joinery, panelled walls and trim beside natural linens, mushroom tones and pale timber.

How to use it
