About this colour

At #CBCBCB, Mercury Light reads as a cool, balanced grey with a restrained brightness that reflects light well while still keeping a soft, settled look. In north-facing rooms it can feel a little cooler and more architectural, with its grey side becoming clearer. In south-facing light it lifts slightly and loses some of that coolness, reading smoother and more open. It sits well beside crisp white woodwork, pale oak, graphite accents and both muted and patterned upholstery, especially where you want the wall colour to stay understated.

How to use it

Use Mercury Light in living rooms, hallways or bedrooms where a calm, pale grey is wanted on walls or woodwork. It pairs neatly with painted joinery, natural timber and upholstery in charcoal, blue-grey, sage or softened neutrals.
