About this colour

This shade sits in the warm beige family, with enough brown in it to read grounded and enough cream to keep it from feeling heavy. Its #C8BA9D value gives it a soft, muted lift on the wall rather than a pale wash, so it holds its shape well beside deeper colours and natural timber. In a north-facing room it will look more muted and slightly cooler, with the stone note coming forward. In south-facing light it softens into a warmer biscuit beige and can feel lighter without turning yellow. It sits comfortably beside oatmeal linens, walnut, oak, and deeper greens or claret tones, and it works well on both walls and painted joinery.

How to use it
