About this colour

At #CAD4D6, this shade reads as a cool, very light blue with a gentle grey cast, so it lifts a wall without feeling sugary or bright. In north-facing light it can look a touch more silvery and subdued, while in south-facing rooms the blue comes forward and feels fresher and cleaner. It sits neatly beside chalky whites, pale oak, brushed nickel and brushed chrome, and it gives darker woods a calm contrast. In Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell, it is a sensible choice for walls or woodwork where you want colour that stays light and composed.

How to use it
