About this fabric

The cool blue ground gives this design a calm, airy character, while the ivory pattern creates clear definition without the contrast becoming harsh. Fine curling stems, stylised leaves and clustered flowers form ornate vertical panels across the surface, with the pale motifs catching the light against the subdued blue. Made from 67% viscose and 33% linen, the fabric is 137 cm (53.82") wide and suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its vertical pattern repeat is 33 cm (12.96") and horizontal repeat is 34 cm (13.36"). Do not wash, bleach or iron; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use the muted blue as a cool foundation for an upholstered chair, headboard or relaxed curtain, pairing it with ivory, chalky grey and softly weathered timber. Its formal damask detail also suits a blue-and-white bedroom scheme where the pale botanical motif can remain the focal point.

A cool, pale blue damask that brings graceful botanical pattern to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
