About this fabric

The design is formed from looping branches, paired birds, leafy sprays and hanging cherries, with deep blue vertical accents adding definition between the botanical panels. Its 67% viscose and 33% linen composition is supplied at 138 cm wide, with a 34 cm vertical repeat and a 34.5 cm horizontal repeat. This fabric is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, making the patterned width practical across both soft furnishings and seating. The restrained sage and blue palette keeps the intricate motif fresh against the cream background rather than overly bright.

How to use it

Use this cool green-and-blue colourway on a reading-chair pair or relaxed upholstered bench, where the bird and cherry repeat can be appreciated at close range. It would also bring a softly illustrated focal point to curtains or a bedspread in a room with cream, pale wood and muted blue accents.

A detailed botanical textile balancing a creamy ground with cool sage foliage, blue birds and turquoise cherries.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Birds & Cherries Green/Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
