About this fabric

This 82% viscose and 18% linen fabric is 140 cm (55") wide and features scrolling botanical-paisley motifs arranged in narrow vertical bands. The indigo is deep and cool against the creamy beige ground, while the red pinstripes add a restrained, warmer contrast rather than dominating the design. Its vertical pattern repeat is 15 cm (5.89") and its horizontal repeat is 35 cm (13.75"). Suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it has a fine, lightly nubby appearance that gives the closely drawn pattern added depth.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo bands to bring structure to a cream or stone room, then echo the narrow red accents through piping, cushions or smaller accessories. The vertical layout is especially effective on curtains, while the 35 cm horizontal repeat can be aligned across upholstered panels and bedspreads.

A finely patterned indigo and red stripe for curtains, upholstered pieces and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
