About this fabric

This small-scale print is formed from rounded indigo and blue-grey leaves arranged along winding tan and blush stems, with the pale ground remaining visible between each motif. Its 82% viscose and 18% linen composition gives the 135 cm-wide fabric a natural textile presence, while the 18 cm vertical and 15 cm horizontal pattern repeats keep the design easy to place. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. For care, do not wash, bleach or iron; it must be dry cleaned professionally.

How to use it

Use Calcot Indigo on relaxed armchairs, loose covers or a bedspread where its cool blue-grey leaves can sit against warm ivory, chalk or pale taupe furnishings. As curtains, the closely spaced botanical repeat will add pattern without overwhelming a light room.

A softly muted indigo botanical print that brings gentle pattern to curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
