Iris Meadow Cotton Blue combines a pale, cool blue ground with densely repeated floral stems, curling leaves and stylised flower heads. Fine blue linework gives the surface a light, airy appearance while deeper blue motifs add gentle definition.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and measuring 136 cm wide, this colourway shows a medium-scale floral arrangement in layered powder and mid blue tones. The repeating design has a 25 cm vertical repeat and 17 cm horizontal repeat, with arcing stems and pointed leaves creating a regular trellis-like rhythm. Its cool palette reads softly rather than brightly, with the deeper blue flower heads giving the pale ground added depth. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 20,000 Martindale rub test.

How to use it

Use the pale dusty-blue ground to brighten a bedroom headboard or loose-covered chair, pairing it with chalky whites and natural woods. As curtains or a bedspread, the fine blue tracery can add pattern without making the room feel heavy.

The cool pale-blue ground and softly layered floral tracery bring a fresh, decorative finish to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.
