About this fabric

The design is arranged as large, formal medallions with smaller floral and scrolling motifs filling the spaces between them, giving the fabric considerable visual depth. Its blue-grey ground reads softened rather than bright, while the pale woven-looking highlights and restrained terracotta details prevent the palette from feeling flat. Made from 67% viscose and 33% linen, the 130 cm wide fabric has a 60 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 43 cm horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 35,000 Martindale rub test; after care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use Kiana Blue on a statement armchair, headboard or full-length curtains where its cool blue-grey ground can sit alongside chalky neutrals, aged timber and warm brass. The muted terracotta details also provide a restrained bridge to russet or clay accessories.

A cool, layered damask with a weathered blue-grey ground, suited to upholstered pieces, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
