Birds & Cherries Cotton Aqua places a cool, pale aqua ground beneath a repeating arrangement of leafy stems, birds and cherry-like fruit. Olive foliage and muted apricot accents give the light colourway a calm, softly faded character.

About this fabric

The swatch shows a light aqua-blue ground with sage and olive leaves, slender grey-green stems, small pale birds and warm apricot-gold cherries. Its matte-looking surface and washed tones keep the botanical pattern relaxed rather than highly formal, while the fruit details provide gentle warmth against the cool background. Made from 100% cotton and measuring 138 cm wide, the fabric has a 34 cm vertical repeat and a 34.5 cm horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 20,000 Martindale rub test.

How to use it

Use this pale aqua colourway to brighten a relaxed bedroom or sitting room, pairing it with chalky whites, soft sage and natural timber. The apricot cherries can be picked out in small cushions or painted accents for a warmer counterpoint.
