Poppy Sprig Aqua/Blush

House Small Prints FabricBP11003.7

Poppy Sprig Aqua/Blush pairs a pale, washed aqua ground with small blush floral sprigs and muted taupe-grey foliage. Its gently weathered colouring gives the close-set pattern a calm, timeworn character.

About this fabric

The fine textile ground has a softly irregular, linen-like texture, visible beneath repeated stylised flower sprigs in blush, coral, taupe and subdued olive-grey. Each compact motif is spaced across a 15 cm vertical repeat and 27 cm horizontal repeat, creating an even but gently informal rhythm. Made from 82% viscose and 18% linen, the 135 cm-wide fabric is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The cool aqua background keeps the warmer blush flowers muted rather than bright, giving this colourway a quiet, faded depth.

How to use it

Use the washed aqua ground to bring a cool, restful note to curtains or a bedroom bedspread, then pick up the blush blooms with warm neutral upholstery or simple terracotta accents. Its small repeat also suits loose or fixed upholstery where a detailed floral texture is wanted without overwhelming the piece.

A softly faded aqua floral for relaxed curtains, upholstery and bedspreads with gentle blush warmth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
