Tansy Green

House Small Prints FabricBP11002.735

Tansy Green reads as a quiet, pale sage ground densely peppered with fine cream curling marks. The close-set print keeps the surface lively while the low-contrast palette remains soft and airy.

About this fabric

The 100% cotton cloth is 136 cm (53.43") wide and carries a 21 cm (8.25") vertical repeat with a 19.4 cm (7.62") horizontal repeat. In this colourway, delicate cream, vine-like marks sit closely across the soft sage background, creating a finely textured visual effect without strong contrast. The supplied usage includes curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, making the small-scale design adaptable across fabric applications. For care, it must not be washed, bleached or ironed and requires professional dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use Tansy Green to soften a room with sage curtains or a relaxed upholstered chair, allowing the cream marks to pick up warm ivory surrounding tones. Its muted green depth also suits a bedspread where a gentle, patterned layer is wanted without a bold focal print.

A muted sage-and-cream small print for relaxed curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
