About this colour

This shade reads as a cool blue softened by grey, with the #6B90A2 value keeping it mid-depth and slightly muted. It lifts a wall more than a deep navy would, but it still absorbs enough light to feel grounded rather than pale. In a north-facing room it can turn more grey and restrained, which suits it well if you want a quieter wall colour. In south-facing light the blue comes forward and feels clearer and fresher, especially in Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell where the finish keeps the colour even and practical on walls or woodwork. It sits well beside pale oak, painted joinery, chalky whites and upholstery in natural linen, indigo or muted green.

How to use it
