About this colour

This shade has a restrained blue cast with enough grey in it to keep it quiet on the wall, so it lifts the room without looking stark. In north-facing light it can feel cooler and more silvery, with the blue note becoming a little clearer. In south-facing rooms it softens further and takes on a brighter, cloudier look while still staying pale. It works well beside crisp white woodwork, weathered oak, pale ash and upholstery in linen, chalky neutrals or muted denim tones.

How to use it

Use it in bedrooms, studies or hallways where you want a light, settled background that will not dominate the room. It suits painted joinery, simple curtain headings and upholstery in soft greys, stone shades and faded blue patterns.
