About this colour

Seen on a wall, #669698 reads as a cool, medium-depth blue-green with enough grey in it to keep it settled rather than bright. It reflects a fair amount of light, so it feels open, but the colour still has body and does not disappear in a room. In north-facing light it turns more muted and a little steely, which suits its restrained side. In south-facing light the green comes forward and the shade feels fresher and more uplifting.
