King's Velvet Teal is a deep blue-green velvet with a softly mottled surface and a dark, atmospheric depth. The pile catches the light in uneven horizontal traces, giving the plain colour gentle movement.

About this fabric

The swatch shows a rich teal velvet, shifting from blue-green highlights to almost black teal in the deeper areas of the pile. Its surface has a brushed, subtly striated appearance rather than a printed motif, making the colour feel layered and tactile. Composed of 69% viscose, 19% cotton and 12% polyester, the fabric is 140 cm wide and suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered furniture; care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this cool, saturated teal on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard against warm timber, aged brass and soft neutrals. As curtains, its dark tone will create a cocooning, theatre-like frame around a window while the velvet pile catches changing daylight.
