About this fabric
This 140 cm-wide velvet combines 69% viscose, 19% cotton and 12% polyester. The emerald shade is richly saturated but dark in tone, with the nap creating a softly mottled effect rather than a flat block of colour. Suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it has a 50,000 Martindale rub test for substantial everyday use. The care specification is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.
How to use it
Use this deep emerald on a reading chair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its changing green surface can provide depth. As curtains, it brings a darker, enveloping note that works particularly well with warm timber, brass and layered neutrals.
A deep, light-catching emerald velvet for richly upholstered seating, curtains and bedspreads.

Pairs well with
King's Velvet Emerald is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
