Vintage Velvet Fern has a deep, muted green tone with the softly mottled surface and gentle light variation characteristic of velvet. Its subdued fern shade brings depth without appearing bright or saturated.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a tonal fern-green velvet with an irregular, softly brushed texture that shifts subtly between darker and lighter areas. Made from 95% polyester and 5% viscose, it is supplied at 137 cm wide for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on frequently used upholstered seating. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Pair this cool, earthy fern green with warm timber, aged brass and soft neutrals for a grounded room scheme. Its lightly varied pile works particularly well on a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtain where the changing surface can catch the light.

Use the deep fern-green velvet on an upholstered chair, sofa or bedspread, or let it fall as rich, subdued curtains.
