Chelsea Fern Spring Green

Ashmore FabricBF10945.760

Chelsea Fern Spring Green carries curling leafy branches across a warm, pale ground, with the spring-green drawing reading softly rather than brightly. The fine woven surface gives the foliage a gently tactile, organic appearance.

About this fabric

Made from 80% linen, 14% viscose and 6% polyester, this 129 cm-wide fabric has a light, natural-looking handle suited to its specified use for curtains and bedspreads. Slender fern-like sprays and curling stems form a medium-scale botanical pattern, with a 32 cm vertical repeat and 43 cm horizontal repeat. The colourway combines muted spring green with a creamy neutral background, creating a low-contrast effect that allows the delicate branches to recede and reappear across the cloth. It must not be washed, bleached or ironed, and requires professional dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use it for relaxed curtains where the pale spring-green foliage can soften a cream, stone or light timber scheme without becoming dominant. Repeat the botanical note on a bedspread, keeping surrounding upholstery plain so the scrolling branches remain legible.

A softly layered leafy design for light, botanical curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chelsea Fern Spring Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
