New Bradbourne Ivory

Ashmore FabricBF10946.104

New Bradbourne Ivory pairs a pale, warm ivory ground with slender taupe botanical trails arranged in evenly spaced vertical columns. The low-contrast colouring keeps the branching motif gentle and understated, while the fine cloth reads as light and quietly textured.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven from 70% linen, 26% viscose and 4% polyester, with a 130 cm width suited to the listed curtain and bedspread applications. Narrow, leaf-like branches run vertically across the ivory ground, with the taupe linework giving the design definition without creating a strong visual contrast. The pattern repeats every 19 cm vertically and 18.5 cm horizontally, producing a consistent rhythm across the cloth. Its pale, softly muted colourway is particularly effective where a room needs botanical detail without a darker or more saturated accent. After care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use New Bradbourne Ivory for full-length curtains in a softly lit room, where the warm ivory ground will feel luminous and the taupe trails will add quiet structure. Repeat it on a bedspread with natural timber, chalky paintwork and other restrained neutrals.

A softly patterned ivory cloth for airy curtains and calmly coordinated bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside New Bradbourne Ivory without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
