Vintage Velvet Bronze has a rich, warm bronze-brown surface with the softly uneven sheen characteristic of velvet. Fine tonal variation across the nap gives the plain cloth depth rather than a flat, uniform colour.

About this fabric

This 137 cm-wide velvet is woven from 95% polyester and 5% viscose, with a substantial 50,000 Martindale rub test for fixed and loose upholstery. In the swatch, bronze shifts between ochre-brown and deeper caramel tones as the pile catches the light, creating a gently brushed appearance. The plain design keeps the focus on the fabric’s tactile surface and warm metallic depth. It is also specified for curtains and bedspreads; care instructions are professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this warm bronze-brown velvet to bring depth to an armchair, sofa or headboard, particularly alongside cream, tobacco, dark wood and aged brass. As curtains or a bedspread, its softly changing nap will add a low-key glow without introducing a pattern.
