Baker House Boucle Nutmeg

Baker House Boucle FabricBF10965.250

Baker House Boucle Nutmeg has a deep, warm brown tone with a softly peppered appearance across its close, nubby surface. The dense boucle texture catches the light unevenly, giving the colour subtle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The swatch shows a small-scale, looped texture in rich nutmeg brown, with fine tonal variation created by the tightly packed yarns. It is woven from 45% linen, 26% wool, 26% acetate and 3% nylon. At 137 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on frequently handled upholstered furniture; care requires professional dry cleaning, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this warm nutmeg shade to bring depth to a relaxed sitting room, particularly on a textured armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard. It also works as a grounding curtain or bedspread colour alongside cream, clay, tobacco and dark timber tones.

A warm, nubby boucle with enough visual depth for upholstered seating, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
