Vintage Velvet Camel
Vintage Velvets VelvetBF10700.170
Vintage Velvet Camel has a warm, earthy camel tone with subtle tonal variation across its plush velvet surface. The low-contrast texture gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric
The close velvet pile catches the light softly, shifting between muted camel brown and slightly lighter golden-beige highlights. Its quietly mottled appearance adds depth while keeping the design plain and versatile. Made from 95% polyester and 5% viscose, the 137 cm wide fabric is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on hard-working upholstered pieces; it must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.
How to use it
Use this warm camel brown on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair to bring grounded richness to a room, or repeat it through curtains and bedspreads for a softly coordinated scheme. Its muted golden undertone pairs naturally with cream, walnut wood and deeper tobacco shades.
A warm, softly mottled camel velvet for upholstered seating, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Vintage Velvet Camel is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
