Galatzo Bronze

Palma Collection FabricGALATZO

Galatzo Bronze has a tightly worked small-scale chevron effect that reads as a woven check from a distance, with warm bronze and tan tones softening the pattern. The overall effect is tailored and grounded rather than flashy.

About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 85% cotton and 15% linen, Galatzo Bronze is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, and its 45,000 rub test confirms a hard-wearing finish. The cloth has a compact, mid-weight handle at 260gsm, with the 140cm width making it practical for both furniture and window dressing. Visually, the bronze-brown ground is lifted by lighter oat and linen notes, so the tiny zigzag pattern feels crisp but not harsh. The 1.5cm vertical repeat and 2cm horizontal repeat create a regular, disciplined surface that suits the fabric’s traditional character.

How to use it

This bronze colourway works especially well on classic upholstered seating, where the small pattern gives texture without overpowering the shape. Pair it with timber, saddle leather and muted olive textiles to keep the room warm and composed.

Use with oak, tan leather or muted green accents for a tailored, grounded look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
