About this fabric

This fabric is made from 88% polyester and 12% nylon, with a substantial 250gsm weight and a 40,000 rub test, making it suitable for severe contract upholstery and drapes. The swatch shows a narrow ribbed plain with a tight, even texture and no pattern repeat in the vertical direction, while the tiny 0.5cm horizontal repeat keeps the surface visually calm. Lucio Cognac has a warm brown base with amber undertones, so it feels richer than a flat tan and less red than a chestnut. The finish catches light gently across the ridges, adding depth without looking shiny. Woven in Spain, it has the practical body of a contract cloth but still looks composed and refined.

How to use it

Use this cognac tone on banquettes, dining chairs or tailored curtains where a warmer brown is needed to soften darker woods and bronze finishes. It works especially well with cream linens, tobacco leather and muted olive accents.
