Florenzo Bark

Tuscany Book Collection FabricFLORENZO

Florenzo Bark is a rich, dark brown plain with a soft, natural-looking surface and subtle linen slub visible in the weave. The colour reads as deep bark brown, giving the cloth a calm, understated presence.

About this fabric

Woven in Belgium, Florenzo Bark combines 54% polyester, 36% viscose and 10% linen for a substantial 490 gsm handle and a 140cm width. It is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, and its 40,000 rub test supports demanding use. Visually, the cloth sits in a muted chocolate-brown family with a smoky depth rather than a bright red undertone, so it feels warm but restrained. The plain style and lightly textured weave give the surface quiet movement when the light catches it.

How to use it

Use Florenzo Bark on a sofa, banquette or statement headboard where you want a darker neutral with a tailored, architectural feel. It also makes smart curtains that frame the room without competing with patterned furnishings.

A grounded neutral that works well on tailored seating or as a restrained drape.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
