About this fabric

Woven in Belgium, this Ashley Wilde fabric is composed of 54% polyester, 36% viscose and 10% linen, giving the cloth a crisp but gently softened handle. It is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, and its 40,000 rub test confirms the robust performance expected from a practical plain. At 140cm wide and 490gsm, it has the substance to sit neatly on seating while still working well for curtains and soft furnishings. Visually, the colour is a very dark charcoal with a matte, smoky finish and fine cross-thread texture that catches the light only subtly.

How to use it

Use Florenzo Charcoal to ground lighter interiors, pairing it with pale oak, brushed metal or warm stone for a sharp contrast. Its muted depth works especially well where you want the fabric to feel tailored rather than glossy or decorative.
