Seismic Sea Foam

Essential Colours FabricBF10687.721

Seismic Sea Foam pairs a misted seafoam ground with pale linear blocks in a tightly repeated woven pattern. The low-contrast colourway has a cool, airy appearance, while the textured yarns give the surface gentle depth.

About this fabric

The swatch reads as a pale, cool seafoam rather than a strong blue-green, with chalky ivory threads softening the overall tone. A compact woven grid of short horizontal and vertical bars creates a quiet architectural texture across the surface; the motif measures 7 cm vertically and horizontally. Made from 6% Polyester, 40% Viscose, 38% Cotton and 16% Linen, it is 137 cm wide and tested to 40,000 Martindale rubs. Listed uses include curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use this cool seafoam colourway to soften a pale, coastal or contemporary room without losing visual structure. It works particularly well on a relaxed occasional chair, upholstered headboard, curtains or a bedspread, where the small ivory grid can be appreciated at close range.

A cool, softly textured seafoam weave that brings quiet pattern to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Seismic Sea Foam without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
