Serpentine Blue Malachite is alive with cool turquoise and blue-green movement, overlaid by dark, ink-like veins that coil vertically and break into granular mineral detail. Rather than a uniform teal, the colour shifts between luminous aqua passages and shadowed navy channels, giving the surface a striking malachite depth.

About this fabric

In this colourway, saturated turquoise-teal grounds are threaded with near-black navy and blue-green lines, creating a fluid malachite effect across the textile. Fine branching and cloudy mineral-like detail give the repeat more depth than a flat stripe, while the dark tracery sharpens the cool colour. At 280gsm and 139cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight for upholstery or drapery. The vertical repeat is 62.5cm and horizontal repeat 70cm, with 128 threads per cm; the 50m standard length supports larger runs.

How to use it

Use the deep blue-teal ground as a dramatic accent on a reading-room chair, ottoman or full-length curtains, pairing it with dark timber, aged brass and quieter blue-green plains. Its cool aqua highlights can also lift a darker scheme without losing the richness of the malachite effect.
