Deep teal-blue and saturated leaf green give Persian Tulip Poison an almost nocturnal, graphic presence. The swatch shows oversized tulip heads picked out with angular inner petals and long, sweeping leaves.

About this fabric

Persian Tulip Poison sets a flat, deep teal-blue ground against strong leaf green, with oversized stylised tulip heads and curling foliage arranged in a bold vertical rhythm. At 52 cm usable width and a 68.6 cm vertical pattern repeat, the sweeping stems and flower heads retain a pronounced directional scale on the wall. The 192 gsm wallpaper is supplied at a standard length of 10.05 m. Its cool blue-green ground gives the vivid green drawing a shadowed, graphic depth rather than a soft botanical feel.

How to use it

Use this cool, high-contrast colourway with warm oak or ochre accents to temper the saturated leaf green. The 68.6 cm repeat suits a wall where the tall, sweeping foliage can make a strong vertical statement.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
