About this fabric

This Zoffany velvet is shown in a saturated teal that reads darker in the shaded folds and softly blue-green where the pile reflects light. Its dense, even surface is plain, with no visible pattern repeat, making the colour and directional sheen the defining features. Supplied at 420 gsm with a 144 cm usable width, it has the substantial presence expected of a furnishing velvet and is well suited to upholstery. The specification also records 71 threads per centimetre and zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat.

How to use it

Pair this cool, deep teal with warm timber, aged brass or pale neutral walls to balance its depth. On a chair, sofa or upholstered headboard, its changing sheen will add richness without introducing a printed pattern.
