About this fabric

This plain velvet reads as a hushed, earthy beige rather than a bright cream, giving the colourway a gentle depth. The folded surface shows the characteristic directional change of velvet, shifting from softly luminous to shaded as the pile turns. It has a 144 cm usable width and a substantial 420 gsm weight, supporting its use on upholstered furniture. With 71 threads per centimetre and no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, the surface remains visually clean and continuous.

How to use it

Use this warm parchment shade to upholster a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its muted beige tone can soften darker timber and contrast with cooler stone or grey accents. Its restrained colour also works as a calm base for textured cushions in taupe, olive or tobacco.
