Moire Wallcovering Stone

Moire Wallcovering Stone brings a softly rippling moiré effect to the wall in a quiet, pale stone-beige colourway. Its fine vertical movement is subtle rather than graphic, with a lightly cool cast that changes gently across the surface.

About this wallpaper

The muted stone-beige ground has a faint grey-green quality, giving this wallcovering a calm, understated depth rather than a strong warm cream appearance. Fine, irregular vertical lines create the impression of softly moving woodgrain or watered silk, while the low-contrast finish keeps the motif refined. The usable width is 138 cm, and the supplied horizontal pattern repeat is 136 cm. As a wallpaper, it is suited to creating a gently textured backdrop where the changing linework can be appreciated across the wall.

How to use it

Pair this cool stone-beige wallcovering with chalky whites, pale oak and soft grey upholstery for a restrained, light-filled scheme. It also provides a calm counterpoint to darker walnut or charcoal accents without losing its delicate vertical movement.

Use this softly cool stone-beige wallcovering to add quiet movement behind classic or contemporary furnishings.

Pairs well with

Moire Wallcovering Stone is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
