About this fabric

This plain velvet is shown in a subdued Wedgwood blue, with a gentle blue-grey cast that keeps the colour calm rather than vivid. Its 420gsm weight and 144cm usable width give it a substantial presence for upholstery. The surface has a fine, even pile, while the changing direction of the fold creates darker bands and a soft, silvery highlight. With zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, the fabric has no motif to align across a project; the supplied construction is 71 threads per centimetre.

How to use it
