About this fabric

This Murano chenille is woven from an acrylic, polyester and viscose mix and supplied at 138cm wide. Its teal-blue colour has a cool, softened depth, while the ivory motifs create a noticeably lighter, distressed contrast across the surface. The abstract scrolling pattern reads as decorative without becoming sharply formal, helped by the tactile chenille texture. It is graded for domestic upholstery, with professional aftercare; the fabric has domestic cigarette-and-match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this cool teal colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat, pairing it with ivory, pale timber and softly weathered metallics to pick up the light motifs. Its patterned surface can also add depth to a restrained room built around blue-green tones.

A muted teal chenille with pale scrolling motifs, suited to upholstered seating needing a softly textured, patterned finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
