About this fabric
MUR3018 is a chenille made from an acrylic, polyester and viscose mix, supplied at 138cm wide for domestic upholstery. Its cool charcoal and silver-grey tones sit against pale ivory-grey areas, creating a softly contrasted monochrome effect rather than a stark black-and-white look. Dense, interlocking organic motifs cover the face, while the short pile and horizontal yarn texture catch the light in fine bands. The fabric has domestic Cigarette and Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade; professional aftercare is specified.
How to use it
Use this cool grey colourway on a tailored sofa, armchair or dining seat, balancing its busy charcoal pattern with plain ivory, putty or deep graphite textiles. Its pale ground can help keep darker upholstery schemes feeling light while the dense motif adds visual structure.
Pair the cool charcoal and pale-grey pattern with ivory, black or brushed metal accents for a tailored upholstery scheme.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside MUR3018 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
