Murano FabricMUR3021

MUR3021 has a softly weathered taupe-grey ground, crossed by pale chalky threads that create a broken, textile-like surface. Its muted depth shifts subtly between warm beige-grey and cooler silvered highlights.

About this fabric

This chenille is woven from an acrylic, polyester and viscose mix and has a 138cm width. The colourway combines taupe, stone and grey tones, while irregular horizontal and vertical marks give the surface a softly distressed, almost brushed appearance. Rated for domestic upholstery, it is suited to seating where its tactile, mid-to-heavy woven character can be appreciated. Aftercare is professional; it has domestic cigarette-and-match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use MUR3021 on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its weathered taupe-grey tone can soften stronger architectural colours. Balance the pale striations with natural oak, warm stone, brushed metal and quiet cream textiles.

Pair its weathered taupe-grey ground with warm timber, chalky walls and softly textured neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
