About this fabric

This 91% polyester and 9% viscose chenille has a compact woven texture, with small horizontal and vertical variations visible across the surface. The colour reads as a balanced blend of warm taupe, stone and muted grey, rather than a flat beige, while charcoal-like flecks add definition. At 138cm wide and graded for Contract upholstery, it is specified for hard-wearing seating applications. Aftercare is professional; the fabric meets Domestic Cig & Match requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this mottled taupe-grey on a sofa, dining chair or upholstered headboard where its fine flecking can soften a neutral scheme without becoming plain. Pair it with warm timber, stone shades and charcoal accents to draw out the contrast in the weave.

A versatile taupe-grey chenille with a finely broken weave that suits tailored upholstery and neutral room schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
