About this fabric

The surface combines fine horizontal chenille ridges with darker vertical and crosswise yarn variation, creating a softly mottled finish rather than a flat block of colour. The warm terracotta tone shifts into earthy brown in the shadowed parts of the weave, while raised threads catch the light with a restrained sheen. This 138cm-wide fabric is made from 91% polyester and 9% viscose and carries a Contract upholstery grade. It has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade; aftercare is professional.

How to use it

Use NAP3445 on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its deep rust-terra tone can warm neutral stone, cream and dark wood schemes. Pair the textured brown shading with brushed metal or ochre accents for a grounded, layered interior.

Use this richly mottled terracotta chenille to bring warmth and tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
