NAP3441 is a muted olive-taupe chenille with a closely woven, irregular surface that shifts between khaki, soft grey and charcoal. Fine vertical striations give the swatch a quietly layered appearance rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

Made from 91% polyester and 9% viscose, this 138cm-wide chenille has a dense, tactile weave suited to contract upholstery. The olive-taupe ground is broken by darker charcoal flecks and narrow vertical marks, creating subtle depth across the surface. Its warm khaki cast keeps the colour grounded, while the grey and dark threads prevent it from feeling overly yellow. NAP3441 is rated Contract for upholstery, with Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and the option to treat it to Crib 5 contract grade; aftercare is professional.

How to use it

Pair this quietly mottled olive-taupe with natural oak, aged brass and textured neutrals for a grounded scheme, or use charcoal details to draw out the darker woven flecks. Its restrained vertical texture is particularly effective on tailored seating where the surface can be seen up close.

Use this muted olive-taupe chenille on sofas, dining chairs or occasional seating alongside warm wood and charcoal accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
