About this fabric

This Ombra colourway is woven in 100% polyester velvet and measures 138cm wide. The surface appears largely plain, with fine vertical nap marks and softly mottled olive shading rather than a printed motif. Its subdued, earthy green reads warmer and more golden in the lighter areas, while the brushed pile creates deeper moss tones in the shadowed sections. Suitable for Contract and Domestic upholstery, it is also machine washable and carries Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use this muted olive velvet on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its low-key sheen can catch natural light without becoming bright. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass, ochre and softly textured neutrals to draw out the colourway’s mossy depth.
