Ravel Olive

Misc Fabric

Ravel Olive shows a small, regular damask pattern that reads as orderly and restrained rather than bold. The muted olive ground is lifted by paler woven detailing, giving the surface a gentle, tailored look.

About this fabric

This Fryett's Fabrics cloth is composed of 51% Poly, 41% Cotton and 8% Linen, with a width of 140cm and a pattern repeat of 7.9cm. In this colourway, the olive tone is softened and slightly earthy, sitting between sage and khaki rather than reading as a bright green. The tiny damask motif is crisp and repetitive, with the lighter motif catching the eye against the quieter ground. Its woven texture and balanced handle make it well suited to both upholstery and drapery where a neat, smart pattern is wanted.

How to use it

Use Ravel Olive to bring a calm, heritage feel to upholstered chairs, Roman blinds or full-length curtains. It pairs well with warm woods, aged brass and natural linens, especially in rooms that suit a muted green with depth.

The soft olive ground feels quietly tailored, with enough texture to suit refined upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
