Shimmer Dove

Misc Fabric

Shimmer Dove is a softly reflective grey fabric with a vertical striated pattern and a calm dove-toned finish. The surface catches the light gently, giving the design a washed, tonal movement rather than a strong contrast.

About this fabric

Woven in 66% Polyester and 34% Viscose, Shimmer Dove has a smooth, lightly lustrous handle that suits a versatile interior use. The 145cm width makes it practical for both upholstery and drapery projects, while the 30cm pattern repeat helps the subtle vertical rhythm read evenly across larger drops. In this colourway, the palette stays cool and muted, with layered grey and taupe notes that shift softly as the light moves across the cloth. The result is a smart, understated fabric with enough texture to add depth without dominating a room.

How to use it

Use Shimmer Dove where you want a restrained neutral with a little sheen, such as lined curtains, sofa cushions or an occasional chair. Its cool grey tone pairs neatly with chalk white, pale oak and deeper charcoal accents.

A muted woven grey that works well for tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Shimmer Dove without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
