About this fabric

This colourway of Modena FR has a quiet, sandy-grey palette, where pale ivory bands sit beside warm taupe, stone and cooler French grey accents. The striped pattern is regular and understated, and the rail-roaded layout gives the design a clean, linear read across the width. Woven in 100% polyester, this fabric is 140cm wide with a 15.5cm pattern repeat, and it has a practical, easy-care character suited to everyday interiors. The texture visible in the swatch is lightly woven and fairly smooth, so the colour change across each stripe is what creates the depth rather than a heavy surface pile.

How to use it

Use this French grey stripe to add gentle structure to curtains, roman blinds or a smart occasional chair. Its restrained mix of cool and warm neutrals works well with chalky walls, oak and brushed nickel.

Pair with brushed metals and pale timber for a refined, easy-going scheme.
