Volterra Dove

Misc Fabric

Volterra Dove presents the Volterra design in a cool, clouded grey palette with pale leaf forms set against deeper charcoal outlines. The pattern reads crisp and contemporary, with the woven texture giving the surface a softly tactile finish.

About this fabric

This fabric is supplied as a 137cm-wide textile with a 52cm pattern repeat, making the oversized vertical motif easy to plan across larger pieces. Its composition of 90% poly, 5% cotton and 5% linen gives the cloth a practical body, while the visible weave keeps the surface from feeling flat. In this colourway, pale dove and misted grey tones sit against dark graphite striations, so the pattern has contrast without looking harsh. The leaf-like shapes feel slightly brushed and organic, which softens the geometric rhythm and gives the design a smart but approachable character. Care code NQT1< should be followed to maintain the appearance of the cloth.

How to use it

Use Volterra Dove on an upholstered accent chair, blind or full-length curtains where the large repeat can show properly. Its cool grey balance works especially well with white paint, pale oak and black metal details.

Pair with chalky neutrals and dark timber for a tailored, contemporary scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Volterra Dove without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
