About this fabric

This Fryett's Fabrics design is a 140cm-wide fabric in 89% polyester and 11% cotton, with a 33cm pattern repeat and care instructions noted as NQT1<. The woven check reads as a cool, weathered teal, softened by beige, cream and greyish taupe squares that stop it feeling too bright. Narrow navy lines break through the grid and add definition, while the slightly textured weave keeps the surface looking upholstery-ready rather than flat. The overall effect is calm and collegiate, with enough contrast to show the check clearly without becoming harsh.

How to use it

Use Troon Teal on an armchair, window seat or ottoman where the teal and taupe grid can add structure without overpowering the room. It sits especially well with oak, linen and warm stone shades.

Pairs well with natural woods and warm neutrals for a calm, lived-in look.
