Classic Damask Teal

This fabric from the Modena FR collection by Fryett's Fabrics is composed of 55% Cotton, 3% Linen and 42% Polyester, with a 140cm width and a 45cm vertical by 23.5cm horizontal pattern repeat. In this colourway the damask reads as a cool aqua teal, softened by chalky ivory patterning that lifts the whole surface rather than sitting heavily on it. The background has a fine vertical strié effect, which adds texture and helps the ornate motif feel slightly relaxed instead of overly glossy. It is a textile design with no performance features noted, and the cotton-rich blend gives it a grounded, furnishing-fabric feel suited to either curtains or upholstery schemes.

Use it where you want pattern without heaviness: the pale teal tone works especially well with white painted joinery, weathered oak, and muted silver accents. It also makes a smart statement on a formal chair or pair of lined curtains in a light-filled room.
